is a coloratura soprano and a recent graduate of the Frost School of Music with an M.M. in Vocal Performance. Most recently she covered the role of the Controller in Jonathan Dove’s Flight, workshopped the role of Marie in E. Shilts’ new opera Julie with Frost Opera Theater, and performed as Lucy in Menotti's The Telephone as part of an education outreach collaboration with Florida Grand Opera. In 2023, she performed the role of La Fée in Massenet’s Cendrillon with Utah Valley Opera Festival and later that year she was praised for her “finely idiomatic sense of Baroque vocal grace in ‘Pur ti miro,’” as Poppea in a scenes showcase with Frost Opera Theater. This summer she will be workshopping the role of Allison in Evan Mack’s new opera A Nearer Mother with CoOPERAtive at Rider University, performing as Sister Mary Robert in Sister Act with Seminole Theatre and Eurydice in Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld with Queens Summer Vocal Institute

A graduate of Oberlin Conservatory with a B.M. in Vocal Performance and a Minor in Education, she performed the roles of Carolina in Cimarosa’s Il Matrimonio Segreto under the baton of Christopher Larkin, and Elle in Poulenc’s La Voix Humaine, produced in 2020 as a cinematic opera. Cleveland Classical described her performance as “visually engaging”, “expressive”, and having a “nice, consistent clarity”Isabel excels at a wide range of repertoire that spans from Mozart to new works such as Oberlin Opera Theater’s 2022 workshop production of Melissa Dunphy’s Alice Tierney. She has sung scenes as Susanna, Zerlina, Servilla, Papagena and Stella from André Previn's A Streetcar Named Desire.


Isabel was awarded the 2024 Angene Feves Artist Grant to support her immersive study of Mozart’s operatic cannon as an artist with Classic Lyric Arts in the Berkshires, and the 2022 Ruth Cogan Memorial Award and Scholarship for her demonstrated excellence in both voice performance and voice pedagogy at Oberlin Conservatory, where she taught private lessons and assisted in specialized movement classes for singers.

As an educator, she is equally at home teaching a wide variety of genres such as classical, musical theater, and pop. During her studies at Frost, she taught voice lessons and assisted with classes in the contemporary voice department as a Teaching Assistant. Isabel is passionate about helping other young artists achieve their educational goals and gain access to musical education of the highest caliber. She has provided guidance and mentorship to countless young artists in her previously held positions such as Admissions Counselor at
Shenandoah Conservatory, Admissions Ambassador and Peer Advisor at Oberlin Conservatory. She continues in this pursuit in her current role as Recruitment and Admissions Specialist for the New World School of the Arts in Miami.

Isabel is a student of Kim Josephson and currently resides in Miami, Florida.
